When this board senses a "failure to ignite" or "loss of flame" condition it will wait one minute and shut the fan motor off instead of blowing cold air and maybe running the battery down. It replaces Dinosaur Electronics previous large and small fan boards as well as the newer OEM fan boards used in some Atwood/Hydro-Flame and Suburban furnaces. The board is fused, and a diagnostic LED on the board glows "green" when power is applied to the board and turns "red" when the board activates the gas valve.
